If you want to connect your baan server to Internet or to develop mobile applications that access directly to baan without using a terminal server, baanOle Broker Server (BOBS) is the answer you are looking for.

So, the mision of BOBS is to help the companies to connect their external applications to Baan in a very easy way and from anywhere.

You can create all needed users/roles manually, but you have to keep the same passwords, because you have only one ora_users file for all databases.

gcommand tool

A tool called gcommand is used for testing Triton database drivers. This tool is extremely useful and can be used for testing drivers at any stage e.g during initial development, enhancements, simulating a bug etc.

This document describes the usage of gcommand. It is assumed that the reader is familiar with Triton database drivers and various database actions described in this document.
